The Matlab scripts were used to create the data (i.e. particle trajectories with different optimisations) for the Paper "The control effort to steer self-propelled microswimmers depends on their morphology: comparing circular and linear movement of symmetric spherical vs. asymmetric L-shaped particles" in Royal Society Open Science, published 2021-09-29. To reproduce data see file "File_overview.pdf" for short explanation of the matlab scripts and their dependencies.
