Our muSR study on Ce(Os1-xFex)2Al10 with x=0.4, which reveals long range magnetic ordering below 24K from the heat capacity, shows unexpected behaviour. The muSR spectra only show frequency oscillations below 5K, in agreement the diffraction study. However, above 5K to 17K muSR spectra exhibit Lorentzian Kubo Toyabe (KT) times exponential (EXP) decay behaviour and above 30 K the spectra exhibit Gaussian-KT times EXP-decay behaviour. We have recently studied Ce(Os1-xIrx)2Al10 (x=0.04 to 0.1) compounds using heat capacity and the results show that the Ir substitution weakens the c-f hybridization and induces a high density of states at the Fermi level. The magnetic ordering temperature decreases to 23K for x=0.09. Considering interesting properties of Ir-doped CeO2Al10, we therefore propose here to investigate the magnetism of Ce(Os1-xIrx)2Al10 (x=0.04 to 0.1) using muSR measurement
