Persian Gulf Metagenome

Persian Gulf hosts ca. 48% of the known world oil reserves. This environment is highly exposed to hydrocarbon pollution mainly due to intensive oil exploitation and trafficking. This Bioproject contains 3 water and 3 sediment metagenomes sampled along the pollution continuum. The samples were sequenced using NovaSeq6000, PE150. The metagenome-assembled genomes (MAGs) reconstructed from these metagenomes are also deposited in this Bioproject.
