This table provides an overview of and some information on the contributors and their entries in the music album of the pianist, composer and piano teacher Louise Langhans, née Japha (1826 – 1910). These range from prominent figures such as Johannes Brahms to less recognised composers such as Clara von Goßler and Auguste Leo. The album is privately owned in Freiburg im Breisgau, but was made available as part of the project ‘Creating Music Albums as Originals Made of Originals' at the Centre for the Study of Manuscript Cultures at the University of Hamburg. The images are accessible at http://doi.org/10.25592/uhhfdm.10771.
The research for this project was funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG, German Research
