Sea bed videos of the Remote Operated Vehicle SPRINT from the shelf west of Spitzbergen along 25 profiles during cruise Heincke 153

DOI

This dataset presents sea bed videos from the shelf west of Spitzbergen along 25 profiles during cruise Heincke 153.

ROV (sprint 103) was equipped with two video-cameras, lights, flash-lights, compass, and parallel lasers providing a scale in the images, a tether-management system (TMS), a winch, and the board units. All cameras used the same main lens and could be tilted. Videos were recorded in Betacam-format; along the same transect the sea-bed was photographed using the same lense system; see https://doi.org/10.1594/PANGAEA.663170.
