A subset of the WP Core Benchmark CFD Set: Deliverable 1.1. in relation to the European Union's Horizon Europe research and innovation program (HORIZON-CL4-2021-DIGITAL-EMERGING-02-10) under grant agreement No. 101080085 QCFD (https://doi.org/10.3030/101080085).  The dataset covers the computation of the prototypical shear flows phenomena, viz. Couette flow and Poisseuille flow. The shear flow computations recover the steady state flow profiles in a laminar flow regime. The linear profile for the Couette flow is given in full spatial resolution. Instead, the Poisseuille flow is modeled using symmetry. Both cases are computed using the finite volume suite HELYX of engys.
