We present benthic carbon and oxygen stable isotope, x-ray fluorescence (XRF) core scanner and paleomagnetic data for the late early to late Miocene (~18-8 Ma) interval of Integrated Ocean Discovery Program (IODP) Site U1443, equatorial Indian Ocean. Datasets were collected along the composite (spliced) section of Site U1443, with average sampling resolutions of 1 to 2 cm. Benthic stable isotopes were measured dominantly on Cibicidoides mundulus/Cibicidoides wuellerstorfi. XRF measurements are reported as elemental intensities and logarithmic ratios. Paleomagnetic declination and inclination were calculated by principal component analysis. Our datasets cover important climate events and carbon-cycle reorganizations occurred during the late early to late Miocene.
