Comprehensive gene expression analysis during gonadal sex change in the threespot wrasse, Halichoeres trimaculatus

The threespot wrasse, Halichoeres trimaculatus, can change sex from female to male during their lifetime. During this sex change, the gonad replaces with a testis from an ovary completely. To understand the mechanism of gonadal sex change in this species, genome sequencing and RNA sequencing were performed.
