Genome assembly of Pearlspot fish

The Etroplus suratensis (Bloch 1790), commonly known as pearlspot or green chromide, is a cichlid species of high economic value as food fish. The high-throughput DNA sequence datasets (Illumina short reads, PacBio HiFi reads and Arima HiC reads) used for generating whole genome assembly, RNAseq datasets used for genome annotation and the chromosome-level whole genome assembly of pearlspot fish are deposited in this bioproject.
