The aim of this study was to replicate the findings of the 1976 ORACLE (Observational Learning and Classroom Evaluation) Project and to detect whether the National Curriculum was having an effect on: teaching; pupils' learning strategies; pupils' performance and attitude; the continuity as pupils move to secondary school.
