The album is kept in the Stadtgeschichtliches Museum Leipzig (accession number A/2013/346). It has been digitised at the CSMC as part of the project ‘Creating Music Albums as Originals Made of Originals’. Measurements 19,5 × 12 cm (landscape); red leather binding with gold embossing; green silk pastedown; title on spine: “Memoires pour l’Amitié”. The manuscript belonged to a Gustav Schmidt, probably from Leipzig.
