Antibiotic resistance in aquaculture sediment

The goal of this project is to determine the molecular mechanisms underlying the spread of antibiotic resistance at aquaculture sites. We collect marine samples mostly from Japan and isolate antibiotic resistant bacterial strains, then determine their genome sequences.
