We have recently used a combination of PNR and low energy muon spin rotation (LEM) to detect the coexistence of an induced SDW and superconductivity in the superconducting layer of an Fe/Pb/Fe trilayer. Below the supeconducting transition there are changes in the SDW that should have spatial components measurable in PNR, particularly near the superconducting-ferromagnetic interface. We propose a PNR experiment to directly measure these changes, which occur in a region of the sample where LEM is difficult due to the high moments in the Fe layer (the interface). These measurements are both complementary to LEM but could also further elucidate the change of phase of one wavevector of the SDW below Tc that is thought to occur. The clear observation of such a phase change would provide extremely compelling evidence for the interaction of the superconducting and magnetic order parameters.
