Major and trace element data from Deming Lake, MN, USA (2022-et seq.)

DOI

Deming Lake, MN, USA is a meromictic lake with elevated dissolved iron (i.e. "ferruginous" conditions) in the hypolimnion. Over the course of several field seasons from 2022-2023, Deming Lake was sampled for major and trace element concentrations. This data compilation provides this elemental data for the following sample types: dissolved and particulate fractions of lake waters, sediments from a transect bisecting the lake, sediments from a core obtained below 4 m of lake water, snow and ice cover on the lake during the winter season, and several inlets to the lake.
