16S rRNA sequencing of the microbiome of short bowel syndrome zebrafish

The purpose of this study was to use 16S rRNA sequencing to identify the bacterial genera that compose the intestinal microbiome in zebrafish after short bowel syndrome surgery as compared to sham operated zebrafish and to determine the effect of broad-spectrum antibiotics (ampicillin, kanamycin, amphotericin B) on the intestinal microbiome of short bowel syndrome zebrafish.
