Documentation of sediment core MSM84_19-1

DOI

The aim of the marine geology and geochemistry sampling program during MSM84 was to retrieve archives for the reconstruction of paleoenvironmental and climatic changes of the Labrador Current and of Lake Melville, covering the deglacial to Holocene period at high temporal resolution. A Gravity corer with a head weight of 1.5 t has been used to retrieve sediment cores up to a length of 16 m has been used to take MSM84_19-1 in Lake Melville.
