Rutile titanium dioxide is one of the most relevant oxide materials, where the impurity physics of hydrogen has recently been devoted much attention. Existing ab-initio calculations disagree with respect to the nature of the isolated hydrogen donor (shallow vs. deep) and it was not possible in previous muSR experiments to obtain a direct determination of the hyperfine interaction. In a previous Muon Xpress proposal, we checked the existence of shallow donor lines in a monocrystalline sample and now propose to characterize its hyperfine interaction, both by an orientation-dependence study in order to check for possible anisotropy, and by obtaining a full temperature-dependence curve.
