We examined the binding of transcription factors (TF) along the cell cycle, namely, whether TF binding to replicated DNA is suppressed similarly to previously observed suppression in gene expression during DNA replication. To examine that, we chose three transcription factors that bind to a wide spectrum of targets distributed across the genome. We focused on Reb1, Abf1, and Rap1, three essential general regulatory factors (GRFs), which were profiled using ChEC-Seq, as developed by the Henikoff lab.
