For non-Fermi liquid compounds, the dynamical susceptibility, as determined from inelastic neutron scattering, is particularly interesting as it exhibits universal energy divided by temperature (E/T) scaling behavior. We therefore, proposed to study inelastic neutron scattering for Ce2PdIn8, which is a new heavy-fermion non-Fermi liquid compound, as evidenced by the electrical resistivity and specific heat data down to 0.35 K. We would also like to investigate temperature dependence of quasi-elastic line and also high energy crystal field excitations. We will use Ei=20 meV (at 5, 15, 30, 50, 100, 150, 200 and 300K) for E/T scaling and Ei=50 meV for crystal field excitations.
