data for "Can we identify wild-born salmon from parentage assignment data? A case study in the Garonne-Dordogne rivers salmon restoration programme in France."

DOI

This dataset provides genotypes at 9 microsatellites of 6229 Atlantic salmon from the Garonne-Dordogne restoration programme. It also provides mating plans corresponding to the 2014, 2015 and 2016 salmon runs. For these three years, genotypes of real migrating salmon and of 4000 simulated salmon each year are also provided, to test parentage assignment strategies.
