This project provides a benchmark for optimization algorithms, based on a real life problem: aircraft conflict resolution. It is primarily aimed at researchers who want to either test their optimization algorithms on a realistic problem related to air traffic control, or contribute to the improvment of models for conflict resolution.

The model and the conflit detection algorithm are described in model.pdf In addition, two kinds of data sets are provided here : (1) trajectory files computed with the model (trajectories.tar) and (2) conflict benchmark files computed as described in the pdf file (conflicts.tar).
