Whole transcriptome sequencing analysis of imprinted expression in Medaka (Oryzias latipes).

Within vertebrate lineages, genomic imprinting is believed to be restricted to eutherian mammals and marsupials. However, comprehensive analysis of imprinted expression in non-mammalian vertebrates has not been done. Here we performed whole transcriptome analysis of imprinted expression in medaka (Oryzias latipes) using reciprocal crosses of inbred medaka strains, Hd-rR and Kaga.
