An inelastic neutron scattering experiment is proposed to study magnetic excitation spectra of representative EuCu2(Ge1-xSix)2 samples. These sytems provide the possibility to study a transformation of the dynamical magnetic response spectra from valence fluctuating to heavy fermion-type for a rare earth element from the middle of the lantanide series. We sauppose to estimate the spin-flucutation energy and to observe the crossover from the Eu mixed valence regime with well defined inelastic features like for SmB6 and Sm(Y)S cases, to the Kondo-type response based on a quasielastic spectral function.
