16s Rainbow trout (oncorhynchus mykiss) skin and gill microbiome samples

The goal of this study was to compare the skin and gill microbiome of rainbow trout (oncorhynchus mykiss) farmed in two facility types. The first is a traditional flow-through system and the second is a recirculating aquaculture system. 10 skin and 10 gill samples were taken from each facility type from the same fish. 3 water samples from each facility were also taken and included in this file.
