Library of repeated sequences annotated in Citrus genome assemblies

DOI

The library was generated using complementary annotation pipelines dedicated to the identification of repeated sequences in genome assemblies such as REPET, TAREAN, EDTA. The dataset includes the consensus library (fasta file) representing the diversity of transposable elements, endogenous viral elements and satellite DNA found in 12 citrus genome assemblies including 9 species derived from the allopatric speciation (e.g. C. trifoliata, C. medica, C. reticulata, C. maxima, C. micrantha) and 3 modern admixed species C. sinensis, C. limon and C. clementina. The library also includes consensus from the annotation of 2 genomes of closely related species, Atalantia buxifolia and Murraya koenigii (Aurantioideae subfamily, Rutaceae family). The source of annotated genome assemblies is available in the TAB file. For more details on the annotation method, see the associated datapaper + citation DOI
