Quarterly time series of the microbial community in the San Pedro Channel

This study focuses on human impacts on the microbial community in the San Pedro Channel, California, USA. Surface water was collected from the Port of Los Angeles, Two Harbors (Santa Catalina Island) and the San-Pedro Ocean Time-series (SPOT). Additionally water samples from all sites were incubated with naphthalene and the microbial community composition was analyzed at t0 and at the end of the incubation.
