The manufacturing of Middle and Late Bronze Age Ceremonial Weapons .

DOI

We propse to study the phase and strain distributions on ENGIN_X of a Middle and Late Bronze Age weapon: a dirk (dagger) and a sword. The objects are from the National Museum of Antiquites, Leiden (NL) and belong to the National treasures of the Netherlands. The objects are of superior craftsmanship and finish which leaves questions about their manufacture. With the measurements on ENGIN-X we will be able to shed light onto the working processes of the manufacturing of both objects.
