Ferroelectric phase transition in Rochelle salt

DOI

We propose to measure total scattering from Rochelle Salt in order to provide new insights into the re-entrant phase transitions in this material. Rochelle Salt is an old ferroelectric, but still with many things not understood, yet a better understanding will be important for the developing field of organic and hybrid metal/organic materials. The data will be analysed using our reverse monte carlo methods, which have been optimised for these types of systems
