Graphene is attracting a lot of attention due to its promising properties for electronic devices. There are several methods to prepare graphene. Among them, reduction of graphene oxide (GO) is a low-cost approach to prepare graphene-based materials in a large scale. The GO sheets are decorated with oxygen-containing functional groups such as carboxylic, hydroxylic and epoxidic groups. Therefore, GO is nearly electrically insulating. Light illumination has important role on healing of conjugated bonds of GO by removing oxygen functional group from the molecule, so the conjugation length increased and GO become more conductive. We propose to study the microscopic intrinsic charge carrier motion of GO with different oxygen content to elucidate the intra-chain and inter-chain. We plan to perform zero field and longitudinal field mSR measurements of GO and RGO sample under light illumination
