The study investigated the position of women in the context of work, employment and family. The emphasis has been placed on biographical aspects such as education and training, occupational activities, work experience, career breaks and the reasons for these breaks, reasons for re-entering the labor force and the experience gained, experience of activities in the household, the family and the social sphere.

Die Studie befasste sich mit der Stellung der Frau im Kontext von Beruf, Erwerbstätigkeit und Familie. Dabei ging es um biographische Aspekte wie Schul- und Berufsausbildung, berufliche Tätigkeiten, Erfahrungen im Erwerbsleben, Unterbrüche der Erwerbstätigkeit und die Gründe, die dafür ausschlaggebend sind, Gründe für einen Wiedereinstieg ins Erwerbsleben und die dabei gemachten Erfahrungen, Erfahrungen mit Tätigkeiten im Haushalt, in der Familie und im sozialen Bereich.
