Der ifo Konjunkturtest für das Bauhauptgewerbe wird seit 1956 monatlich vom ifo Institut erhoben. Kern des Fragenprogramms sind qualitative Urteile zu aktuellen ökonomischen Parametern der Unternehmen wie z.B. der allgemeinen Situation, der Bautätigkeit, der Preisentwicklung oder der Kapazitätsauslastung sowie Fragen zu den Entwicklungen in den kommenden Monaten, u.a. den Beschäftigten- oder Preiserwartungen. Der überwiegende Teil der Fragen wird für verschiedene Bausparten (z.B. Straßen, Hoch- und Tiefbau) erhoben.

The Ifo Business Survey for Construction has been conducted on a monthly basis since 1956. The core of the questionnaire consists of qualitative assessments on the current economic parameters of companies such as, for example, the general situation, construction activities, price trends or capacity utilisation, as well as questions on the outlook for the forthcoming months in terms of employment and price expectations. The majority of the questions concern the various construction segments (for example, streets, structural and civil engineering).
