Full-length RNA sequencing using Illumina and Nanopore technologies

Here we show a method that sequences full-length cDNA by combining SMARTer with the ONT MinION sequencer. We sequenced the RNA in two different biological samples of Saccharomyces cerevisiae:, haploids and diploids, and evaluated our method in terms of gene quantification, differential gene expression and transcript reconstruction in compare to Illumina data.
