The SurMob2018 study collected data among 1273 inhabitants of Suriname. The survey covered the following topics:• Social background, including ethnicity and migration. These items include all compulsory social background variables of the International Social Survey Programme and more.• Social mobility, i.c. education and first and most recent occupations of respondent and current/last occupation of partner, as well as education and occupation of father and mother of the respondent (at age 12).• Migration module on siblings of respondent, including age of migration, country of destination, education and first & most recent occupations of four brothers/sisters of the respondent.• Attitudes on role of government (60 items) and social networks (60 items), covering the 2016 Role of Government V and 2017 Social Networks III modules of the International Social Survey Programme.
