Recently, there has been a significant amount of interest in quantum phase transitions and non-Fermi liquid (NFL) behavior exhibited by heavy-fermion compounds. Interestingly URu2-xRexSi2 compounds display novel features of NFL behavior even within the ferromagnetic ordered state as discovered in the magnetic, thermal and transport properties. Our inelastic neutron scattering study carried out on HET reveal a new mechanism of NFL behavior that is based on the competition of ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic interactions that results in frustration in this system. We therefore propose here to carry out zero-field (ZF) muSR and longitudinal field (LF) muSR measurements on URu2-xRexSi2 alloys with x=0.2, 0.35 and 0.6 to determine the spin dynamics of uranium as detected by muons at different temperatures in the NFL and ferromagnetic regions in the temperature range of 50 mK to 100 K.
