We propose the first neutron scattering experiment on the frustrated magnet Tb2Ti2O7 in the presence of a magnetic field along [111]. This will allow us to uncover signatures of the recently proposed Quantum Spin Ice (QSI) state. Evidence for the validity of this promising theoretical description for Tb2Ti2O7 has already come from a magnetization plateau that arises in a 0.7T field along the [111] direction, at T<500mK. The proposed experiment is required to detail the low energy quantum spin dynamics of the QSI state. We will investigate how these dynamics depend on the field strength as the system crosses the magnetization plateau. This proposal is currently in the beam time competition at the SNS, but due to the 6:1 oversubscription rate at CNCS it is unlikely that it will be successful. If we obtain beam time at both ISIS and SNS, we will inform ISIS as soon as possible.
